This project will result in a roadmap towards reaching best practices in Home and Community Health.
Accelerating Best Practices in BC Home and Community Health will propose strategic direction and key actions in order to support ongoing improvements to policy, delivery of high-quality care, and facilitating achievement of priority goals set out in BC Ministry of Health policy papers.
The project includes literary research, expert consultation, and engagement efforts with Home and Community Health stakeholders.
These research activities endeavour to determine the different perspectives regarding the current state of Home Care in BC, identify the problem areas, and which best practices offer solutions for improvement.
The project will use interviews and workshops to collect information from key stakeholders and experts, and identify trends to ascertain the top issues and solutions in Home and Community Health at present. Literary research will ensure recommendations are couched in strong, evidence based solutions.
This will enable the creation of a BC Home and Community Health Road Map that is dependable, innovative, current and complete.
